What authorised can mean

The relationship may cover sales, display stock, installation, warranty diagnosis or a particular territory. It does not automatically prove that the same company carries out every part of the work.

Four checks before paying a deposit

Step by step

Follow the relationship in both directions

  1. Check the brand

Use the official UK brand or distributor website to look for the retailer or showroom.

  2. Check the seller

Match the trading name, address and legal company on the quotation and payment details.

  3. Check the product

Confirm the model is UK-supported and covered by the warranty terms you have received.

  4. Check the support route

Name the business that will diagnose faults, supply parts and attend warranty calls locally.

When to ask more questions

Buyer checklist

Pause before paying

  • The brand cannot identify the seller or the claimed relationship.
  • The quotation does not name the legal company taking payment.
  • The warranty document is missing, generic or for another country.
  • No one can name the local warranty or service provider.
  • The model, serial-number process or replacement-parts route is unclear.

Find the brand and the local company separately

Start with the Find a Tub brand directory, then open each linked company profile to compare showroom, installation and aftercare roles. Always confirm the relationship again on the official brand website before buying.
