How we check listings, official websites and pricing.
We separate selling, installation, showrooms and aftercare so you know who to contact, where the information came from and what to ask about the price.
Source checked and business details verified
Source checked means we have compared a listing with published company and other relevant sources. Business details verified means a FindATub reviewer has also checked that a representative is authorised to speak for the business and has confirmed its identity, contact details, locations, services and brand information.
We check authority using a reply from an independently matched official mailbox, a callback to an official company number, or other documented evidence. Sending a form does not automatically verify a company. We retain the reviewer, evidence and dates privately; the public profile shows confirmation and review dates.
The FindATub Verified Business badge is available to registered listings with current public-source checks. The profile separately shows whether an authorised representative has confirmed the details. Checks last at most 12 months; material changes require another review. The badge does not certify product quality, workmanship or safety, or replace trade accreditation. The listing, corrections and badge are free. Paying for Pro or adding a backlink never determines verification.
What the role labels mean
A dealer sells hot tubs. An installer delivers or fits them. A showroom has somewhere you can visit, while a service specialist handles maintenance or repairs. One company can do several of these jobs, but we do not assume that it does.
Company and public sources we check
We use company websites, manufacturer dealer lists, mapping profiles and other reliable business information to check locations, services and brand relationships. Every public profile links visitors to the sources available for that company, with the most recent check date shown separately.
How we handle hot tub pricing
Advertised prices can exclude delivery distance, lifting equipment, electrical work, a suitable base or commissioning. Our guides explain these cost lines, but we do not present an old or incomplete promotional price as the full installed price. Buyers should request a written, current quotation from the company.
How we show review ratings
We show each review platform separately with its published score, scale, review count and source link. Rating sorting uses the platform with the most reviews for each company, normalised to five points. Review-count sorting uses that same source.
Ratings and review totals change, so it is always worth reading recent reviews yourself, especially comments about delivery, installation, communication and aftercare.
Location data
We use Postcodes.io to match Great Britain business postcodes to administrative areas. A published service area does not establish a physical showroom or business base.

Keeping information current
Profiles show when they were last updated. Businesses and visitors can suggest corrections, and we keep closed showrooms separate from companies that still provide mobile servicing or repairs.
What Featured means
FindATub selects some profiles for additional visibility, including in the homepage selection and recommended directory order. Featured is not a verification badge, a customer review score or an independent quality award. Use the distance, name or review sorting options to compare companies on those measures.
Sponsored placements must be labelled as sponsored. A Pro subscription does not buy a better review score or verified status.
Commercial listings
Paid placements, referral links and enhanced profiles will be clearly labelled. Commercial arrangements do not change the services or roles shown for a company.
